We are excited to be expanding the original Q SNAPS study to learn more about how the aging experiences you told us about relate to memory and aging in the brain. For this study, we've teamed up with Test My Brain, a not-for-profit research initiative dedicated to providing measurement tools that allow people to engage in science and learn about brain health.
This study is linked to but separate from the survey portion of the study and is called
Q SNAPS Cognitive Games.
Importantly, if you want to be a part of Q SNAPS but do not want to participate in Cognitive Games, you do not have to. You will stay enrolled in Q SNAPS even if you do not participate in the Cognitive Games study.
Over the next few months, we will be recruiting Q SNAPS participants to complete Cognitive Games. Participants will complete 5 short modules on online that test memory, recall, and more to give you a baseline on your brain health. The full set of modules will take about 20 minutes and can be completed on any device, including a computer, tablet, or phone. At the end of Cognitive Games, you'll see how you did and receive $30 as compensation. If you're interested in learning more or haven't seen your invitation in your email, you can contact us at vusnaps@vanderbilt.edu or contact us using any other method listed here.
Keep an eye on your email for your unique link to play!
